Job summary

An engineering company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage project leads and coordinate bids and tender submissions primarily in Singapore and South East Asia. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in the equipment or construction industry, a relevant degree, and understanding of the machinery markets in China, the USA, and Germany. Fluent Mandarin is preferred for this role, which involves frequent overseas travel to engage with clients.

Qualifications

• Understanding of engineering machinery markets in China, USA, and Germany.
• Strong networking skills with commercial/industrial property owners.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Source and identify project leads, primarily in Singapore and potentially for South East Asia region
• Manage, review and coordinate project quotations, bids and tender submission for the Company
• Participate with business development in opening new opportunities in niche markets locate and analyse project opportunities for the Company to grow
• Travel overseas frequently to facilitate communication with clients.

Requirements

• Equivalent experience or Diploma/bachelor degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• Understand the engineering machinery markets in China, the USA, and Germany, particularly familiar with equipment from Sany, XCMG, CATERPILLAR, and LIBHERR.
• Network of contacts with commercial/industrial property owners
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in the equipment or construction industry.
• Second / multiple language esp. Fluent in Mandarin is preferable
