Job summary

A leading marine solutions company in Singapore is looking for a Business Development Executive. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic business plans, and managing relationships with stakeholders. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in sales or business development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The position offers a 5-day work week and is based in Jurong East.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, generate, and qualify new business opportunities to expand client base.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic business plans and sales strategies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners, ensuring long-term collaboration and mutual growth.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches tailored to customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams (product, technical, operations) to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage CRM systems and regularly report on sales performance metrics to management.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including raising Purchase Requests (PRs), following up on Purchase Orders (POs), and other related administrative tasks.
Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development, sales, or account management.
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, market research, and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience or interest in the maritime sector or related fields is beneficial but not required.
