Job Overview

One North, a Singapore based IT Services firm is currently hiring Business Analysts with experience in the Insurance Domain - LifeAsia with 7~8 years of experience as per details given below.

In this role, you will require in-depth understanding of business processes, and define the user cases / user story for applications. You will develop acceptance criteria to provide assurance for quality of the applications releases.

As part of this dynamic role, you will report to Lead Business Analyst, and work closely with business units and other IT teams.

Requirements
  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst (6+ years) having in-depth understanding of the entire SDLC process
  • 3+ years' experience in the Insurance Domain - LifeAsia would be preferred
  • Good understanding of insurance product sales and servicing process
  • Understands Agile and Scrum processes
  • Able to translate business requirements into precise, high quality user stories that are clear and concise and are easy to understand and implement by the development team.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and delivery mindset, being experienced working in an agile delivery environment.
  • Experience with Agile delivery tools – e.g. JIRA, Confluence.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and its CRM modules is preferred.
  • Experience with major CRM platforms and system integrations is considered a baseline requirement.
  • Possess knowledge in AS400 system and proficient in insurance claims processing, policy servicing.
  • Prior experience in Software Development or knowledge of SDLC will be added advantage.
  • Understand business process and define the business requirements in the form of use cases/user stories.
  • Exposure to finance or actuarial concepts is advantageous.
  • Experience with POS System will be advantageour.
  • Able to create test plans, functional scenarios per requirements, carry out systems testing and assist with UATs
  • Liaising and communicating with various stakeholders (application/tech teams, project team)
  • End-to-End Software Delivery experience will be beneficial
  • Experience and familiarity with platforms: Confluence, JIRA, MS OfficeSuite
  • Create Test cases & test plan
  • Provide & share knowledge to other team members
