Job description

Overview

• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
• Complete make-ready process of vacant rooms, apartments as directed by the Chief Engineer.
• Maintain inventory controls for cost effective operations
• Schedule and complete the "Preventive Maintenance Program".
• Coordinate special projects with vendors/contractors as directed by the Chief Engineer
• Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside vendors/contractors.
• Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Carry cell phone as required for on-call maintenance.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Responsible for alerting the Chief Engineer of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.
• Assure Workplace safety standards are used which comply with all company & MOM contractors,
• and fellow employees.
• Ensure compliance of all work related activities in a fair, ethical and consistent manner.
• Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined

Core Skills and Knowledge

• Able to communicate clearly in English and write simple English
• Able to perform general electrical knowledge in wiring, plugs, cables, power circuits and appliances.
• Plumbing knowledge includes the ability to repair plumbing leaks, breaks, clogged
• Lines and drains and maintain septic systems
• Maths skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide each unit of measurement
• Able to work on shift duties
