What are my job responsibilities?

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ATC Senior Design Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of CBTC GoA 4 signalling solutions for urban rail systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in ATC system design, with specific experience in rolling stock interfacing, system simulation, and performance-critical subsystems. You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring optimal integration and performance of automatic train operation.

  • Technical expertise in ATC and CBTC systems.
  • ATC on-board interfaces for trains and locomotives.
  • Headway simulation activities
  • Incidence analysis and T&C support
  • Customer lead interface
  • Headquarters interface (Germany and Spain)
What do I need to qualify for this role?
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Railway Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in signalling or train control systems, CBTC or advanced ATC environments.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience with:
    • CBTC scheme plan design
    • Rolling stock interfaces
    • Multi-vendor project environments and complex integration contexts.
    • RAMS principles and safety‑critical system lifecycle.
  • Nice to have:
    • Siemens CBTC systems knowledge.
    • Experience with LTA Singapore customer
    • Certification or formal training in CENELEC standards or functional safety.
