Job Description & Requirements

The BDR will execute high velocity outreach to merchants in selected APAC markets as deem fit. Leveraging tactics such as cold calling, social selling, digital communication, and networking with the aim to connect potential, qualified merchants to our sellers to convert sales.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Complete routine tasks with detailed instructions.
  • Utilize customer contact information to reach out via phone, social, and email.
  • Discover customer needs and explain PayPal’s value proposition.
  • Gain customer commitment to take the next step in the sales process.
  • Suggest changes to existing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and results.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills. This position supports clients based in Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines and mainland China. Therefore, fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential. Vietnamese language skills would be a plus.
  • Strong passion for Sales with a dynamic hunter personality to reach decision makers
  • A high degree of comfort with “cold calls” and skilled at navigating through various barriers to engage with key decision makers
  • 1-2 years of sales, marketing or business development experience. SaaS sales experience is a plus.
