Qualifications

CFO, Financial Accounting and Controlling, Accounting and regulatory reporting Singapore

Field of Activity

You will shoulder responsibility in one of the world's leading international organizations for financial markets infrastructures. In a dynamic, client and technology-oriented environment you will be in charge of the accounting of Singapore and Hong Kong based entities of Deutsche Börse Group, doing day to day accounting tasks, preparing monthly/quarterly accounts as well as year end (statutory) ones. Furthermore, you will have to deal with related matters to support tax topics, annual audits and management decisions.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Handling the day to day operation of Singapore and Hong Kong based entities
  • Accounting (Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets)
  • Accounts reconciliation and Intercompany reconciliation
  • Prepare statutory accounts for Singapore and Hong Kong based entities including branches of European companies
  • Perform month end closing process including delivery for group accounts on various levels
  • Work on special accounting tasks on an ad hoc basis
  • Support preparation of deferred tax and tax computation
  • Handling Singapore GST computation and submission
  • Direct dealing with internal and external auditors
Our Requirements
  • Years of experience: 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
  • Education Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Professional Certification in Accounting
  • Practical experience in accounting
  • Good accounting knowledge - especially on HK GAAP, IFRS and SG GAAP
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and other departments.
  • Growth mindset with ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions, including automation initiatives to enhance departmental performance.
  • Preferred:
    • Proficient in SAP
    • Experience in Funds or Asset Management Industry or Wholesale Bank Regulatory Reporting
    • VBA / MS Excel proficiency
