Job summary

A leading global healthcare company is looking for an Associate Director, Commercial - Solid Tumors to join its Asia Pacific Commercial team. This role will shape and execute commercial strategies across the region and work with key stakeholders to support the adoption of innovative products in oncology. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of experience in sales or marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on oncology and cross-functional team leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Sales, Sales Management, Marketing, or Commercial Excellence/Analytics.
  • Experience in oncology (solid tumours) or haematology preferred.

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Director, Commercial - Solid Tumors to join our Asia Pacific Commercial team.

The Associate Director, Commercial – Solid Tumours, will shape and execute commercial strategies for the Solid Tumours portfolio across the Asia Pacific region. This role partners with Health Decision Makers, KOLs, and Health Care Providers to support the adoption of J&J Innovative Medicine products in oncology, with a focus on solid tumour indications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Lead and support accelerated growth strategies for the Solid Tumours portfolio, driving alignment across regional and global teams, and engaging Commercial, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and R&D stakeholders.

  • Market Insights: Develop deep market insights and apply next-generation analytics to inform business decisions and maximise commercial impact.

  • Cross-functional Leadership: Manage and lead cross-functional, cross-geographic teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

  • Asset Development: Influence development of future assets to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions for the APAC region, collaborating with global and regional colleagues for timely commercialisation.

  • Business Planning: Execute both long- and short-term strategic business plans, monitor operating expenses, and maintain key relationships to achieve growth and profitability targets.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as an effective conduit between global and local teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Sales, Sales Management, Marketing, or Commercial Excellence/Analytics within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry.

  • At least 2 years in Marketing/Commercial Excellence/Analytics; 3 years managing cross-functional/cross-geographic teams preferred.

  • Experience in oncology (solid tumours) or haematology preferred.
