JOB SUMMARY

The role will be part of Group Payment team within Transaction Banking business focusing on Cross Currency Corporate Payment Product Suite. In this role, the individual is expected to support commercialisation of cross currency payment product in partnership with Financial Market, Global, Regional & Local Product Managers, Structure Solution Design and broader stakeholders. We are looking for a creative and self-driven individuals who is comfortable driving initiative in a collaborative environment across various stakeholder.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Commercialisation of cross currency payment product:
    • Work with Regional/Local Product colleagues to support all new product go-to-market activity e.g. lead generation, sales enablement, product positioning
    • Develop /Refresh Client value propositions product collaterals for internal and external distribution –periodically.
  • Defined product roadmap and hold accountable for delivery of product roadmap:
    • Hands on execution and assist in driving key product initiatives that will include launching new products in and improve existing ones in new markets, enhancing existing offerings.
    • Interact with functional and cross functional partners across Sales, Product Development, Operations, Technology, Service, etc on global, regional and country basis to ensure product agendas are prioritized and activities are aligned and delivered in line with the Product, Country & Segment Agenda
    • Product Governance and Risk Management – Build efficient partnership with second line of defence (Compliance, product risk, operational risk, FCC ), to ensure product being conceptualised fit to bank’s and industry risk/regulatory guidelines
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Maintain regular connect and engagement with key stakeholders periodically to improve product value based on continuous feedback.
  • Regulatory & Business Conduct
    • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
    • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
    • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Business or equivalent discipline.
  • Prior experience on Payments Product
  • 3+ years of banking experience
  • Experience in Project management, analytical problem-solving skills and use of relevant tools
  • Ability to work within tight timelines and at the same time produce quality deliverables.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders within business, operations and technology.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
  • Prior experience working in Non Bank FI is a plus
