Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense and aerospace, as well as research and development.

We are presently seeking Assistant Section Leader that will support the team to fulfill customer's expectations.

Main responsibilities:
  • Planning and monitoring the completion of daily COC activities after verification of relevant QA records.
  • Ensure all documentations are fully completed and duly signed/stamped by respective person.
  • Check for concession note, any customer specific requirement if required.
  • Communication with planner & shipment store to prioritize for urgent jobs.
  • Approach QA Supervisor and section Leader for any clarification required on the documentation.
  • Highlight to respective party(planner/shipping) on any delay related to completation of documentation with valid reason.
  • Periodic update of customer document (Eg: EDR) received through customer support (Business/CSR/CQE).
  • Scan & Upload all the QA shipment documents to share drive with proper identification for easy retrieval.
  • Communicate with CQE on the FAI quality data to be provided to customer.
  • Maintain witness piece with time specific and QA document at designated place.
  • Read and follow relevant work instruction and SOP.
  • Support to implement QMS, EHS activities in relation to company Goal & Objective.
  • Undertake additional QA responsibilities such as RMA, 6S and other QA activities.
  • Conduct manufacturing process audit and prepare reports.
Requirements:
  • Minimum “O” Level or equivalent.(Preferred ITE / Diploma)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Able to read and write English.
  • Ability to read and understand procedures, drawings to carry out result recording.
  • Strong documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Knowledge in Quality system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office including MS word and Excel & SAP System.
