Job Description

The candidate will work closely with the Executive Director, Director (Strategy, Partnerships, and Technology Translation) and Manager (Admin Lead) and provide oversight and leadership for partnership development, outreach activities, communications, and technology translation initiatives at Coastal Protection and Flood Resilience Institute (CFI) Singapore.

The candidate will be the key go-to person for industry engagement and partnerships, functioning as a liaison between programme office, partner institutions, and industry partners.

The successful candidate will cover the following roles:

Responsibilities
  • Support the Director (Strategy, Partnerships & Technology Translation) in the following strategic functions related to partnerships and engagements: Conceptualise good engagement and outreach strategies to promote programme office as a strong magnet for industry partnerships, engagements, and collaborations with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Proactively pursue and establish strong strategic partnerships with several targeted key industry players, as well as related government agencies with the aim to grow an ecosystem, increase industry contributions and enhance translational research capabilities.
  • Curate and analyse data with accuracy and administer and maintain good industry engagements across multiple domains within programme office.
  • Pre-Programme and Post-Programme Preparations.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years of related relevant experience
  • Demonstrated multi-stakeholder project management experience.
  • Ability to handle complex, ambiguous and challenging situations and comfortable with a fluid environment within an evolving organization.
  • Familiarity with project management resources and tools.
  • General knowledge of local funding bodies and grant regulations.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues and to make administrative and procedural decisions and judgments.
  • Must have an advanced application of MS Office Suite (CRM, Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
