Job description

We are looking for an Assistant Lead to join our micro-content team. The team is the creative engine for UNFOLD Asia's short-form brands, including OGS, Ribbit.FYI, and Sincerely, Singles. Reaching millions of audiences monthly through authentic, empathetic, and thoughtful storytelling, we aim to build a network where every brand is a competitive leader in its field.

The ideal candidate is a social media professional with demonstrable excellence in creating diverse digital formats to drive organisational outcomes. They have excellent leadership and people skills, and are able to effectively manage and guide teams in and out of the creative process. Most importantly, they should resonate with UNFOLD’s approach to human-centric storytelling – understanding how to translate a partner's message into a compelling narrative, and coming in with their own personal expression they wish to share with the world, or a “reason to create.”

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the editorial quality and performance of micro-content series across multiple media brands
• Spearhead high-value branded and editorial micro-content campaigns and projects.
• Partner with the Micro-Content Lead to implement solutions that drive audience growth, revenue, and execution excellence for the team.
• Lead the end-to-end production of a diversity of micro-content, from graphics and illustrations to vertical short-form videos (Research, Production, Post, Caption/Thumbnail, Publishing).
• Mentor creatives and interns, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented team environment.
• Drive the strategic growth of each brand by ideating and executing new formats and content pillars
• Attend and represent UNFOLD brands in relevant client meetings, pitches, and media events.

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of professional experience in content creation/strategy for consumer-facing brands/media publishers.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience guiding and mentoring creative teams.
• Demonstrable proficiency in content production/post-production across various formats (graphics, video editing, illustration/animation is a plus).
• Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making to achieve business goals.
• Excellent knowledge of social media formats, platform trends, and algorithms.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
