Job summary

A prominent environmental services company in Singapore is looking for an Environmental Engineer to coordinate fieldwork for various Environmental projects. The candidate should have a Diploma in a related field and at least 1 year of experience. Responsibilities include handling equipment, drafting reports, and ensuring safety protocols on-site. A Class 3 driver license is compulsory for this role.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct fieldwork such as sampling for air quality, noise, water, asbestos and other related Environmental, Health & Safety projects at local, onshore, offshore and overseas.
• Handling, operation and maintenance of monitoring equipment.
• Coordinate with subcontractors where required and ensuring health and safety protocols are observed onsite.
• Occasional supervision of subcontractors and casual workers.
• Drafting of test reports for senior review in a timely manner.
• Participate in Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme, SAC-SINGLAS of ISO 17025 audits.

Qualification and Experience

• Recognized education in Environmental Engineering / Environmental related environmental, health and safety studies.
• Minimum Diploma in a related field.
• Compulsory to have ‘O’ Levels Chemistry & Physics.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Open to performing sampling in a variety of work environments.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel).
• Able to work independently and in a team in a fast pace environment.
• Required Class 3 driver license.
