A leading architectural firm seeks an Architectural Assistant/Senior Architectural Assistant in Singapore. This role involves managing design phases, collaborating with teams, and leveraging digital tools for project success. Candidates should hold a degree in Architectural Studies and be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software. Your Responsibilities
Perform all works assigned by the Project Director / Associate / Architect to meet the established project objectives diligently, ensuring quality and adherence to industry standards
Support the Project Director / Associate / Architect on all matters pertaining to design, technical, and application of building code and regulations
Manage feasibility and design phases of the project
Analyse data obtained from site analyses
Assist in documentation during the stages of conceptual and detailed design development
Liaise with consultants on matters of design, and technical coordination issues, and building regulations
Assist with documentation and building tenders, and administer standard forms of contracts
Gather necessary information for work approvals based on regulatory and legislative prerequisites
Assist in procurement activities
Attend site or consultant meetings on matters of design, technical coordination issues, and building regulations
Work and coordinate with team members on collective assignments
Perform modelling using Revit or CAD , or manual drafting of sketch drawings
Leverage digital tools and platforms as well as data from computational models to assist with the pre-design and design phases
Pre-requisites and Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Architectural Studies, BA (AS), BSc, BArch
Well-versed in design, CAD, and 3D modelling software and technologies such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, BIM software (Revit), Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office
Demonstrates comprehensive understanding and application of planning and building codes and regulations
Organised, meticulous, and analytical
Possesses initiative, works methodically and autonomously, and has good time management skills to meet challenging deadlines and client briefs
Has an open and highly collaborative mindset and approach
