A leading software firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional with over 10 years in the banking sector and 5 years of hands-on experience with CARDLINK systems. The ideal candidate has expert knowledge in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, and MQ Series. They will manage daily operations, analyze production issues, and implement initiatives to optimize efficiency. Strong familiarity with Mainframe tools such as Endevor, File-Aid, and Control-M is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking sector.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience with CARDLINK systems.
• Deep knowledge of COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, MQ Series, and Ezytrieve.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day issues including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with end users, development staff and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and/or mitigate outages.
• Perform in-depth analysis of production problems, identifies root causes and recommends solutions to resolve application malfunctions and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure all incidents, incidents and changes are progressed efficiently and effectively to meet application service levels
• Help in identifying, coordinating and implementing initiatives/projects that promotes efficiency and optimization of daily processes
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and/or availability

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

• At least 10 years of Banking experience
• At least 5 years of solid CARDLINK (Credit and Debit Card System) hands-on experience
• Expert knowledge and experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, MQ Series, Ezytrieve
• Expert knowledge and use of Mainframe tools such as Endevor, File-Aid, Control-M
• Prior application or production support experience is a plus
