When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. But that is not all. You will be part of our Air Logistics team, adding your operational expertise + skills to the delivery of customer + operational excellence.

How you create impact

Your primary objective is to support the product of aviation + aerospace (AA) with excellent knowledge of international + domestic airline routings, international airports + time zones. You have full understanding of operational flows + systems to execute shipments according to customer requirements.

What we would like you to bring

You will do this by working with a variety of internal stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

  • To answer every incoming phone call in a timely + professional manner.
  • To be trained for all AA services: routing service level (ROU), control room temperature (CRT), aircraft-onground (AOG), + execute shipments timely + accurately.
  • To be EngineChain trained + have full capacity to deliver such services to customers.
  • To provide timely + active communication with AA network, send pre-alerts for engine, critical, AOG shipments + ensure customer care teams (CCL) + AA network are kept up to date.
  • To read, understand + deliver service as per customer standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • To ensure compliance with company policies + procedures, paying special attention to dangerous goods handling.
  • To ensure every job file must be closed on a daily basis, ensure every milestone is updated + port of discharge (POD) uploaded in system once delivered.
