Roles & Responsibilities
Position Summary

The After Sales Service Engineer will support our service operations across Singapore and the Asia region. The role involves assisting in installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul activities for OEM compressor and blower systems. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, safety‑conscious, and eager to learn from experienced engineers while upholding German OEM standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and start‑up of compressor and blower systems at customer sites
  • Support execution of preventive maintenance, servicing, and minor repairs in line with OEM procedures
  • Assist senior engineers in troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities
  • Participate in overhaul works, including dismantling, inspection, replacement of parts, reassembly, and testing
  • Carry out operational checks such as vibration observation, alignment assistance, leak inspection, and performance monitoring
  • Prepare and submit service reports, documentation, and maintenance records accurately and on time
  • Ensure full compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental standards, and site HSE requirements
  • Work closely with the service planning, warehouse, and technical teams to support smooth service execution
  • Attend training and development program to continuously enhance product knowledge and technical capability
Requirements
  • Diploma / NITEC in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
  • 0–3 years of experience in rotating equipment, compressors, blowers, or industrial machinery (fresh graduates encouraged)
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, bearings, seals, and industrial maintenance
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings is advantageous
  • Willing to travel locally and regionally, and work on customer sites when required
  • Responsible, disciplined, and able to work as part of a team
Preferred Advantages
  • Experience with industrial compressors / blowers (e.g. Aerzen, Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Ingersoll Rand, etc.)
  • Exposure to vibration monitoring, alignment tools, or instrumentation
  • Safety certifications such as Confined Space, WSQ / OSHA, or equivalent
  • Experience in petrochemical, wastewater, power plant, or manufacturing environments
