(Primary Math P2–P5 / AEIS Math)

About AITE

AITE Education is an academic training centre that specialises in AEIS / S-AEIS preparation and Singapore Primary curriculum support.
We are expanding and looking for experienced Mathematics Teachers who can teach Primary 2–Primary 5 levels and are familiar with AEIS Mathematics examination requirements.

We value teachers who are professional, structured, patient, and passionate about guiding children to build strong foundational math skills.

Position Title

Mathematics Teacher (P2–P5 / AEIS Math)
Part-Time / Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

• Teach Primary Math (P2–P5), aligned with the MOE syllabus

• Prepare students for AEIS Mathematics (P2–P5 level topics)

• Deliver lessons clearly and systematically (concepts + processes)

• Mark, review and explain practice questions, worksheets, revision papers

• Help students strengthen problem-solving skills (model drawing, heuristics)

• Monitor student progress and provide learning feedback

• Maintain classroom discipline and engagement

• Participate in curriculum discussions and teaching improvement sessions

• Support trial lessons, holiday programmes, and intensive revision classes

Requirements

Educational & Professional Background

✓ Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience (Primary Math)
✓ Familiar with Singapore MOE Primary Math syllabus
✓ Knowledge of AEIS Math topics is required
✓ Experience in tuition centres / schools preferred

Mathematics Knowledge Requirements

Applicants must be able to teach the following P2–P5 / AEIS topics:

• Whole Numbers

• Fractions & Decimals

• Measurement (Length, Mass, Volume, Time)

• Geometry (Shapes, Angles, Area / Perimeter)

• Word Problems

• Model Drawing / Bar Modelling

• Heuristics & Problem-solving methods

• Basic data interpretation

(Training support will be provided for AEIS exam format.)

Language Ability

• Able to explain math concepts clearly in English

• Able to communicate with parents in Chinese (preferred)

Personality Traits

• Patient, responsible, and firm with classroom management

• Enjoy working with children aged 7–12

• Structured, reliable, good at explaining step-by-step

• Willing to teach long-term (minimum 3 months for part-time)

Working Hours

Flexible scheduling options:

• Weekdays (afternoon / evening)

• Weekends (morning / afternoon)

• Holiday intensive programmes available

Part-time and full-time positions available.

Salary & Benefits

• Part-Time: SGD $20–$40 / hour (depending on experience)

• Full-Time: SGD $3,800–$4,800 + performance bonuses
