Responsibilities
- Provide acupuncture service to patients using safe, effective, updated techniques.
- Support acupuncture service in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Admiralty Medical Centre.
- Assess, establish treatment plan and manage patients independently.
- Clear and accurate documentation on clinical visits.
- Ensure compliance to infection control regulations.
- Responsible for inventory of stocks and materials in clinic.
- Maintenance of equipment.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Conduct research projects.
- Manage the clinic to meet departmental goals.
- Take ownership of continuous professional development.
- Embrace continuous improvements in work performance.
Education
Responsibilities
- Provide acupuncture service to patients using safe, effective, updated techniques and procedures in accordance to JCI standard and MOH guidelines
- Support acupuncture service in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital and Admiralty Medical Centre as required
- Assess, establish treatment plan and manage patients independently
- Clear and accurate documentation on clinical visits
- Ensure compliance to infection control and other hospital safety regulations
- Responsible for inventory of stocks and materials in clinic
- Maintenance of equipment
- Perform administrative duties
- Conduct research projects
- Manage the clinic to meet departmental and organizational goals
- Take ownership of personal continuous professional development
- Embrace continuous improvements as our way of life by improving and refining work performance on a daily basis
GENERAL (20%)
- Educate the general public and healthcare colleagues regarding acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine
- Occasional contribution to departmental projects outside of clinic hours as determined by reporting officer
- Perform any duties assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
- Recognised Degree in TCM
- Registered and licensed by Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB)
