A leading recruitment firm is seeking an Accounts Assistant for a 1-year contract in Singapore. The role involves managing accounts entries in SAP, assisting daily operations, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Accountancy and 1-2 years of experience. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with SAP are necessary for success in this position.
Location: Tanjong Pagar
Working hours: 09:00 to 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
Completion Bonus provided (possibility of conversion depending on individual and company's performance)
Mainly in charge of monthly entries of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) in SAP system
Assist in the any other manual entries required for SAP system
Process staff claims and payment processing in accordance with company policies and the approval matrix
Assist in daily accounting operations such as invoicing, payment preparation, monitoring collections, etc.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities where assigned
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company financial policies
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Financial Controller or the Assistant Manager of the Finance team
Assist in maintaining proper documentation and filing for accounting records and supporting documents
Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an MNC environment
Good understanding of double-entry accounting is a MUST
Proficiency in MS Excel is a MUST
Hands-on experience with SAP (S4 Hana preferred) or other accounting software is an added advantage
Familiarity with finance-related statutory compliance
Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven, with keen attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams
Experience in Japanese companies is an added advantage
