Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full sets of accounts, including financial reporting and reconciliation tasks. The ideal candidate should have at least a Professional Certificate or degree in Finance/Accountancy and a minimum of 3 years' experience. This role demands proficiency in managing multi-currency transactions and experience with SAP and Microsoft Office. The position offers a salary range of $3,800 to $4,000+ and is based in Bedok.

Overview
  • 5 days, 8.30am-5.50pm
  • Salary: $3800- $4000+/-
  • Location: Bedok
  • Reports to: Finance Director
Job Responsibilities
  1. Full Set of Accounts (Only for one Singapore entity. The candidate will be using Excel, SAP and Workbench)
    • General Ledger: Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
    • Accounts Payable: Prepare payment vouchers and process payments. Match and post purchase invoices and payments, including reconciliation. Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies. Update daily cash book
    • Accounts Receivable: Issue invoices and debit notes and record accounts receivable receipts. Follow up with internal departments on outstanding balances. Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable schedules.
  2. Reconciliations Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Perform reconciliations and confirmation of intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency across entities
  3. Financial Reporting Prepare balance sheet and profit and loss schedules to support financial statement preparation. Perform simple consolidation of group entities’ financials.
  4. Petty Cash Management Manage petty cash transactions.
  5. GST Reporting Prepare and submit GST reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Year-End Audit Support Prepare necessary schedules for the year-end audit.
  7. Tax Reporting Support Provide support in addressing tax-related inquiries.
  8. Government Surveys Prepare and submit government statistical surveys as required.
  9. Ad Hoc Duties Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • At least a Professional Certificate/Diploma/Degree, Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Candidates must have experience handling multi-currencies and accounting for exchange conversions.
  • Proficiency in common ERP software and desktop applications, including Microsoft Office.
