Job Description

The Role

We are hiring an Account Executive to join Finmo as an early member of our APAC revenue team, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. This is not a “turnkey” closing role. You will help write the playbook: shaping go-to-market motion(s), building the pipeline, and feeding market truth back into product priorities.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle end-to-end (prospecting → discovery → solutioning → negotiation → close) across new and existing accounts.
  • Define and penetrate priority segments across APAC, iterating on positioning and GTM motions as you learn what converts.
  • Build a regional merchant/customer pipeline and a repeatable execution cadence that the broader team can scale.
  • Develop revenue-bearing relationships with customers and ecosystem partners (including financial and channel partners).
  • Create and deliver high-quality, tailored presentations and product demos to CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance leaders.
  • Be the “ears on the ground”: translate customer feedback into crisp insights that inform roadmap priorities and unblock deals.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and forecasting in our CRM, partnering closely with Product/Engineering to incorporate customer feedback.
Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Quota-carrying, full-cycle closing experience (fintech and/or B2B SaaS strongly preferred) with clear evidence of consistent attainment.
  • Strong outbound and pipeline creation capability (you can hunt as well as close).
  • Confidently engaging C-level and Finance stakeholders, with a consultative approach that uncovers pain points and ties them to measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to operate with structure: qualification discipline, clean pipeline hygiene, accurate forecasting, and crisp internal communication.
  • High adaptability—someone who expects change, learns fast, and improves the system as they sell.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into Treasury / CFO orgs, or adjacent domains (payments, cash management, FX, ERP/TMS integrations).
  • Existing APAC ecosystem relationships (banks, PSPs, fintech partners, platforms).
Additional Information

Location & Travel

  • Based in Singapore or Australia with meaningful regional travel across APAC as needed.
  • Overseas travel expenses reimbursed per company policy.

Compensation & Benefits (Summary)

  • Base salary + performance incentive (target-based).
  • Equity participation (subject to Board approval and plan terms).
  • Annual leave policy (historically 20 days, pro-rated, per company policy).
  • High ownership, high learning: you will help define how Finmo scales revenue in APAC.
  • A product and mission built around modern finance reality, moving money globally while improving cash visibility, liquidity control, and risk management.
  • A tight feedback loop between Sales, Product, and Engineering, where your customer insights materially shape what we build next.
  • Be part of a fast-growing, innovative company at the forefront of the FinTech industry.
  • Work with a passionate and supportive team dedicated to making an impact.
  • Opportunity for significant career growth and professional development.
  • Flexible working arrangements and a vibrant office culture.
  • Achance to shape the future of global payments.
