JOB DESCRIPTION

La Maison du Whisky is seeking an Account Executive to support the Finance team. This individual will be responsible for managing Accounts and Admin related to LMDW.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a partial set of accounts and support the Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end accounts closing & GST submission.
  • Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including updating receipts; reconciling daily Point-of-Sales (Revel reports) and web sales (Stripe); liaising with the sales team on discrepancies; and maintaining all Proof of Delivery (POD) records and credit control.
  • Perform Account Payable function, such as recording of invoices, preparation of payment, reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts, liaise with suppliers on any invoice discrepancies etc.
  • Prepare and monitor daily bank books and cash flow reports and handle all bank-related administrative matters.
  • Handle HR administration, encompassing employee time management, leave and MC tracking, timesheet review, and calendar updates.
  • Monitor and review all contracts and licenses, ensuring timely facilitation of renewals and negotiations.
  • Handle general administrative duties & GST submissions.
  • Coordinate with external parties, including external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial agents.
  • Provide backup support as necessary.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years of experiences in a similar role.
  • Possession of at least a Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, CAT, ACCA or equivalent.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Honest, proactive, and quick learner.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, accounting software, and databases.
  • Able to work independently with a positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages and passion for whisky/spirits a plus.
