Responsibilities

• Exceeds personal sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Solicits groups, transient, and/or banquet businesses through action plan preparation and execution.
• Independently responsible for the achievement of objectives, as outlined in the action plans.
• Determines and recommends prospective customers from market information and resources.
• Quotes and negotiates prices, confirmed by written contracts.
• Supports team goals and identifies revenue-producing activities.
• Participates in sales calls, business trips, trade shows, conventions, and promotional events.
• Maintains positive relationships with all guests, vendors, and colleagues.
• Maintains account, contact, activity, and business details within Opera S&C.
• Coordinates and follows up with other hotel departments to ensure service delivery.
• Prepares necessary reports regularly.
• Responds to business opportunities within 24 hours.
• Assists with competitive intelligence information compilation as directed.
• Attends all required sales meetings.
• Mentors and coaches support colleagues when applicable.
• Participates in prescribed sales training.
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and practices.
• Assesses and reviews processes to remain relevant and innovative.
• Supports and reviews services, products, and rates for sustainability practices.
• Leads a team to provide exceptional standards of operation and service.
