The client is seeking a Warehouse Storekeeper to oversee and manage inventory for their electrical manufacturing operations. The role is critical in ensuring timely availability of raw materials, electrical components, and finished products for production and dispatch. The ideal candidate will have experience in storekeeping within an electrical or engineering manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming electrical materials, parts, and supplies (e.g., cables, breakers, switchgear components, busbars, relays, etc.).
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safe handling of electrical items to prevent damage.
  • Issue raw materials and components to the production team against authorized requisitions.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records in ERP / inventory management systems.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise material requests to procurement for replenishment.
  • Conduct periodic stock checks, reconciliations, and assist in annual physical inventory.
  • Prepare dispatch materials and coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery of finished panels/products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment as per company standards.
  • Follow safety procedures while handling electrical goods and equipment.
  • Liaise with production, purchase, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant in an electrical manufacturing or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical materials, control panel parts, and switchgear components.
  • Familiarity with ERP / inventory management software (SAP, Tally, or similar).
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, Email).
  • Qualification: Diploma / ITI in Electrical, or Graduate with relevant storekeeping experience.
