Job Summary
We are seeking a talented UI / UX Designer to design intuitive, secure, and user-centered digital experiences for banking products such as mobile apps, internet banking, and internal banking systems. The designer will collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and compliance teams to deliver customer-friendly and regulation-compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
User Experience (UX) Design
- Conduct user research , journey mapping, and usability analysis for banking products
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into user-centric designs
- Create wireframes, user flows, personas, and prototypes
- Ensure designs meet accessibility, security, and compliance standards (e.g., data privacy)
User Interface (UI) Design
- Design visually consistent and responsive interfaces aligned with bank branding guidelines
- Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
- Maintain and contribute to design systems and style guides
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Business Analysts to understand banking processes (payments, accounts, loans, KYC)
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure design feasibility
- Support developers during implementation and validate UI accuracy
Testing & Improvement
- Conduct usability testing and analyze customer feedback
- Iterate designs based on testing results and business feedback
- Support UAT and post-release improvements
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
Design Skills
- Strong understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision
- Experience designing mobile and web applications
Banking & Domain Knowledge
- Understanding of banking products and workflows (accounts, payments, cards, loans)
- Awareness of security, compliance, and accessibility considerations in banking applications
Technical Awareness
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field
- 3–6 years of UI / UX design experience, preferably in banking or financial services
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain design decisions to non-design stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
