Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in interior design and fit‑out, with 5+ years in site‑based roles within KSA.
  • Proven track record in luxury commercial, hospitality, or mixed‑use projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes and regional regulations.
  • Consultancy experience is mandatory.

We are seeking a Senior Interior Design Architect specializing in fit‑out and site operations to join our Riyadh team. This role focuses on end‑to‑end delivery of interior design and fit‑out works, ensuring design integrity, quality execution, and seamless coordination between design and construction teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in luxury interiors, high‑end finishes, and turnkey fit‑out projects.

Your role
  • Lead the implementation of approved interior design concepts into fit‑out works, ensuring alignment with design intent.
  • Oversee FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, procurement, and installation.
  • Validate shop drawings, material submittals, and mock‑ups for compliance with specifications and aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction phase.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality standards, and resolve on‑site design issues.
  • Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of interior elements.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, health and safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and site teams.
  • Explicit mention of reviewing and validating ID design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for compliance with design intent and standards.
  • Performing technical audits and ensure adherence to local codes, international standards, and project specifications.
About you
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or Architecture.
  • 10–15 years of experience in interior design and fit‑out, with 5+ years in site‑based roles within KSA.
  • Proven track record in luxury commercial, hospitality, or mixed‑use projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes and regional regulations.
  • Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, detailing, and fit‑out processes.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Consultancy experience is mandatory.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience working with international design consultancies or PMC environments with strong background in interior design and fit‑out delivery.
  • LEED, WELL, or other sustainability certifications are a plus.
