Position Summary:

The successful candidate will report functionally to the Mechanical Department Manager and on a project basis to the Project Engineering Manager. The candidate will be the discipline engineer on the assigned project and job description will include:

Mechanical Engineer with experience in design, selection and engineering of various types of Rotating Equipment for oil/gas, refinery, petrochemical and chemical projects. Equipment handled shall include centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, process compressors-centrifugal, reciprocating and screw type, gas/steam turbines and various packaged equipment.

Projects handled shall include various stages including studies, brownfield upgrades, Pre-FEED, FEED, Detail Design and vendor/construction support.

Shall be a subject matter expert/SME with solid experience in developing engineering/ procurement documents including equipment and seal selection, data sheets, technical specifications, material requisitions (MRs), technical bid clarifications, technical bid evaluations (TBEs), purchase requisitions and vendor document reviews.

Thorough knowledge of industry codes including API and ASME Code is essential.

Additional equipment knowledge such as troubleshooting, upgrade and modification will be preferable.

Candidate should have ability to interact with internal Engineering/Design disciplines and client during the course of projects.
