About the Role:

As a Senior Soft Service Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of soft services staff to ensure the efficient and effective cleaning of designated areas according to established standards and schedules. This role requires a proactive leader who can assign tasks, provide effective guidance and support, monitor work quality, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and equipment, and act as the primary point of contact for the team and escalate any issues to the Soft Service Manager.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the cleaning team, assigning daily tasks and ensuring adherence to high standards of cleanliness and procedure.
  • Responsible for continuous monitoring of teamwork quality and progress, providing feedback and support while maintaining effective communication internally and with the Cleaning Supervisor.
  • Actively participate in team communication, addressing cleaning issues independently, and ensuring timely escalation of complex problems or critical concerns to the Supervisor.
  • Ensure all cleaning operations meet established protocols and quality standards through continuous inspection and by cultivating a team culture that prioritizes attention to detail and work excellence.
  • Enforce adherence to all health and safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE, safe handling of chemicals and equipment, and the immediate reporting of all safety hazards or incidents.
  • Inspect facilities and report any maintenance issues to the hard services team.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of all necessary cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment, promptly reporting shortages or malfunctions, and promoting responsible use to minimize waste.
Qualifications, Skills & Aptitude
  • Associate's degree (Diploma) in Business Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a total facility management company or in a related sector.
  • Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential.
