Qiddiya Investment Company is dedicated to building a sustainable and world-class entertainment destination, and we are currently seeking a Senior Manager - Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) for the MBS Stadium project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards specific to the MBS Stadium project.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Lead HSE audits, inspections, and assessments, and take corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to educate employees and subcontractors on HSE best practices and compliance requirements.
- Monitor HSE performance indicators and prepare detailed reports for senior management, outlining progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop risk assessments and safe work plans for high-risk activities.
- Participate in incident investigations, identifying root causes, and developing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance through innovative initiatives and employee engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position on large-scale construction projects.
- Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, both locally and internationally.
- Strong experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems and processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Certification in HSE-related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is a plus.
