About the location:


AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. About the Role


As a Recreation Assistant Manager, you will support the daily operations of the Recreation Department, ensuring guests enjoy a safe, engaging, and memorable experience. You will oversee recreational facilities, activities, and team members while maintaining the highest service standards.


What You Will Do


  • Assist in managing daily recreation operations, including pools, fitness centers, kids’ club, and leisure activities.
  • Supervise, train, and support recreation team members to deliver exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed, including equipment checks and lifeguard standards.
  • Coordinate guest activities, events, and wellness programs tailored to different age groups.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper upkeep and availability.
  • Support scheduling, payroll inputs, and departmental administration.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

What You Bring


  • Previous supervisory experience in recreation, hospitality, or leisure management.
  • Strong knowledge of recreational operations, safety standards, and activity programming.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, or first aid (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
