We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer who will ensure quality requirements for the organization. The role involves identifying and driving continuous improvement projects through data analysis, inspections, and testing.

The Quality Engineer actively promotes quality awareness within the organization by providing training and sharing best practices. They support the Quality Manager in deploying KONE’s quality strategy, governance, and goals.

What will you do?

  • Prioritize quality performance improvements based on data analysis
  • Investigate non-conformances using continuous improvement methodologies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Create and analyze large datasets from multiple platforms to identify trends
  • Support the Quality Manager in target setting
  • Perform in-process or product inspections and validate requirements through measures, tests, and sampling methods
  • Maintain and update quality records as per procedures
  • Share skills and knowledge about quality methodologies and tools, fostering organizational development
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective actions within the Quality Improvement teams

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in the Elevators & Escalators industry with a proven track record
  • ISO 9001 Quality Certification is recommended
  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Strong computer skills, including database management
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in testing, version control, and defect management best practices
  • Professional certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
