A leading international company is seeking a Quality Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 5-8 years of quality management experience, preferably in the energy sector. Job Summary:
The Quality Engineer provides assurance that the quality management system is adequate, effectively implemented and enables the delivery of expected results. This provides assurance that requirements are met to achieve the effective and efficient delivery of the Client mission at best value, as well as identifying improvements and facilitate the delivery of quality improvements to deliver sustained benefit.
To plan, evaluate, verify, and certify quality, proposing and embedding improvements where necessary to ensure delivery is effective, minimizes the cost and/or consequence of failure and meets stakeholder and/or project specifications and requirements.
Deploying quality assurance and control activities to support right first-time delivery for their area. Deploying quality improvement plans in accordance with relevant objectives. Using, capturing, and sharing learning from experience to support improvement in quality performance within the Client.
Technical Duties:
Applying quality assurance and control
Monitoring, measuring, auditing, and reviewing
Driving continuous improvement
Reporting
5- 8 years of quality management experience (5 years in an Operational or Project within energy).
Academic Certificate:
Minimum: CQI Diploma (Level 5) or international equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical sciences disciplines related to Quality Management OR professional qualification
Lower-level qualifications MAY be considered and accepted for candidates with substantial professional work experience in quality related roles.
Courses Certificates:
Minimum: Qualified internal QA auditor
Preferred:
**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
