Qualifications

Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying for large‑scale infrastructure and landscaping projects and must have direct experience with Giga/Mega Projects or similar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documentation.
  • Conduct quantity take‑offs, cost analysis, and value engineering for infrastructure and landscaping projects.
  • Manage and monitor project costs from inception to completion to ensure budget compliance.
  • Evaluate and validate contractor and subcontractor claims, variations, and progress payments.
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure alignment between design intent and project costing.
  • Support procurement by preparing cost comparisons and supplier evaluations.
  • Perform site visits to validate work progress and ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
  • Review and negotiate contracts in line with project objectives and company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports on cost status, forecasts, and risk assessments for senior management.
  • Accurately quantify materials, labor, and resources required for a project.
  • Develop detailed and realistic Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • Forecast and control project budgets and cash flows.
  • Identify potential cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering.
  • Ensure the project remains within budget from inception to completion.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8‑10 years of proven experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure, landscaping, and design projects.
  • Must have exposure working on Large Scale Projects such as Qiddiya, Roshn, Red Sea, King Salman Park, Green Riyadh, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar contractual frameworks.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local Saudi regulations, market rates, and supply chain.
