Job summary

A leading project management firm is looking for a Project Engineer to oversee fit-out and finishing works for new branch openings and renovations. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising site activities, coordinating with contractors, and conducting regular site visits. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design, along with relevant experience, is required. Proficiency in MS Office and basic AutoCAD skills are also essential.

Qualifications

  • 1-4 years of experience in fit-out, retail, or F&B project works.
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings, finishing materials, and MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and follow up on all fit-out and finishing activities for new branches and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Prepare daily / weekly reports on project progress and highlight potential risks or delays.

The Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supervising fit‑out and finishing works for new branch openings, renovations, and maintenance projects. The role ensures that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and follow up on all fit‑out and finishing activities for new branches and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Review project drawings, layouts, and material specifications before implementation.
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure work is progressing according to timelines.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality and compliance with company standards.
  • Support in obtaining quotations and comparing offers from contractors or suppliers.
  • Assist in budget tracking and cost control for each project.
  • Prepare daily / weekly reports on project progress and highlight potential risks or delays.
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained at all project sites.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and procurement teams for project handover.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design (preferred).
  • 1–4 years of experience in fit‑out, retail, or F&B project works.
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings, finishing materials, and MEP coordination.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
