Job summary

In this role, you will drive a positive team culture by effectively fulfilling supervisory responsibilities. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth plant operations across shifts, engaging team members, and translating the operations vision into actionable results.

What You Will Do
  • 1. Lead an operational team in a safe and efficient manner, taking ownership of advancing the vision, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • 2. Build the high-performing team by understanding your direct reports individual capabilities and utilize them to maximize the value creation for the team as a whole. Work with the team to create personalized development plans, deliver meaningful coaching and be involved in selecting and retaining the right people.
  • 3. Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. Provide safety training to crew members and deliver training materials in a meaningful approach.
  • 4. Facilitate team development and communication, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable.
  • 5. Monitor product quality and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency.
  • 6. Promote employee involvement, providing coaching, feedback and direction as required.
  • 7. Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
  • 8. Complete data entry responsibilities and generate reports in a timely and efficient manner.
  • 9. Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports and ensure the application of the individual performance development cycle.
  • 10. Understand the cost of decisions and impact to departments and other processes.
  • 11. Meet or exceed KPI goals by demonstrating success in measuring and improving processes.
  • 12. Work in shift rotation (12 hours duty) 4 by 4 days – Day and Night shift.

  • Experience in leading a high performing team as well as the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Experience in adapting to transformation and bringing change to the people, process, and company that will create the greatest value.

  • Experience in glass production (float line or coating line)
  • Experience in manufacturing factory
