Purpose of the position:

As Offshore HSE Supervisor you will be part of the HSEQ department within the Abser-Offshore business line. You will support the HSE team across assigned projects, ensuring compliance with the company, client and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to ensure the correct development, management and improvement of the site/field/Vessel HSE Management System throughout all phases.
• Provide professional support to ensure all activities on‑board Saipem sites, fields and vessels (including Offshore Rigs) comply with Saipem HSE Standards, local legislation and International Standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001).
• Offer specialist advice to the Vessel Management Team and workforce on the interpretation and implementation of applicable HSE Procedures, while ensuring effective implementation of Life‑Saving Rules.
• Liaise with HSE or QHSE Divisions, operating companies and project teams to ensure compliance with standards and procedures on‑site and support the Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis processes.
• Deliver HSE training, participate in accident/incident investigations, coordinate the activities of HSE Officers and ensure accurate reporting of HSE data and monitoring of corrective actions.

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in HSE Professional Certification or a relevant field.

Background: Minimum 7 years as an HSE Officer in the Oil/Gas and other industry field, and 2 years in an offshore environment.

Languages: Fluent in English.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, incident investigation, Aramco standards, risk management, and emergency response.
• Basic knowledge of H2S, BOSIET/FOET, NEBOSH IGC/IDIP, BLS/FA, and international affiliations such as IOSH/IIRSM membership awareness on CSSP/HIP, CSM, Schedule‑D.
• HSE Professional Certification.

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging offshore and onshore projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. Travel to multiple project locations may be required.
