Job summary

A leading engineering company in Riyadh is urgently seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in fire fighting systems. The successful candidate will supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of various fire fighting systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in construction projects in Saudi Arabia. Strong English communication skills are essential, with Arabic as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in fire fighting / fire protection systems.
• Strong site experience in Saudi Arabia (construction projects).
• Experience in testing & commissioning and handing over projects.

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fire fighting systems and site execution.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation, testing & commissioning of fire fighting systems (pumps, piping, sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants, etc.).
• Follow approved shop drawings, specifications, and relevant codes & standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and other disciplines on site.
• Prepare site reports, inspection requests (IR/MIR), and as-built information.
• Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with Civil Defense and local regulations.

Skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in fire fighting / fire protection systems.
• Strong site experience in Saudi Arabia (construction projects).
• Good knowledge of NFPA / relevant fire protection codes (preferred).
