A leading engineering firm in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent/Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of industrial maintenance experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role, and strong technical expertise in Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Electrical systems. This role ensures equipment reliability and minimal production disruptions, emphasizing leadership and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years in industrial maintenance, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical systems, and machine tools.
  • Knowledge in PLCs, MMIs, and data flow formats.

Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Superintendent/Supervisor to oversee all preventive and corrective maintenance operations, ensuring high equipment reliability and minimal production disruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, plan, and supervise all maintenance activities for buildings, facilities, machinery, and equipment.
  • Experience in contacting suppliers to discuss technical issues, mainly related to electronics.
  • Develop and manage maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance plans, and repair schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with operations to reduce downtime and ensure equipment efficiency.
  • Supervise installation and commissioning of new equipment and utilities.
  • Manage departmental budgets, inventory of critical spares, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards in the workplace.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, staff evaluations, and training to ensure high team performance.
Candidate Profile
  • Education: DAE/Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in industrial maintenance, with 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Exposure: Strong knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Electrical systems, and machine tools. Knowledge in PLCs, MMIs, data flow in different formats (DSTV, ASCII, .DXF).
  • IT knowledge and linking machines with detailing software (e.g., TEKLA extraction).
  • Certifications: High Voltage, Hydraulics, or Material Handling certifications (preferred)
