Job Description
Job Objective
- Be the principal point of contact with the client, gaining approval of test specifications and hosting acceptance testing activities.
- Authorize the execution of Test Specifications, including test plans, strategies, and specifications based on system requirements.
- Oversee the IVVQ process to ensure system compliance with contractual, operational, and regulatory standards.
- Define and implement IVVQ strategies, test plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for end-to-end system validation.
- Lead system integration activities, resolve technical challenges, and manage risks across hardware, software, and network components.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and customer teams to ensure smooth IVVQ execution and system deployment.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and customer demonstrations for formal system acceptance.
- Drive innovation in IVVQ methodologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage work progress reports, estimates, and tool maintenance related to IVVQ activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
The IVVQ Manager ensures systems meet all requirements throughout the system engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing IVVQ strategies aligned with project goals.
- Ensuring requirements are well-defined, traceable, and validated with stakeholder engagement.
- Establishing verification and validation processes to ensure product quality and user needs.
- Creating comprehensive test plans with automated and manual testing approaches.
- Leading and mentoring the IVVQ team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to synchronize activities.
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Defining work packages, estimates, schedules, and KPIs.
- Providing insights through reports and dashboards.
- Managing solution integration verification, validation, and qualification activities.
- Providing technical leadership and establishing detailed work structures.
- Representing System IVVQ Engineering at formal reviews and liaising with customers and partners.
- Applying best practices, tools, automation, and change control processes.
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 12+ years in Systems Engineering lifecycle activities, with at least 5 years leading IVVQ efforts, including:
- Experience in system design and technical leadership.
- Understanding of system integration and qualification standards.
- Developing IVVQ plans, schedules, and resource strategies.
- Hands-on experience in complex system environments.
- Background in requirements validation, functional testing, and performance verification.
- Experience with integrated systems preferred.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
- Familiarity with testing and validation tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Jira, HP ALM, or Bugzilla.
HSE Responsibilities
