About the Role:

The main role is to provide full-time Environmental Health and Safety (HSE) support to company operations, and ensures that all activities are conducted in full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. In addition, the position will coordinate and implement regulatory programs to ensure their effective application across all operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace risks, raise safety awareness, and improve working conditions.
  • Facilitate a work environment that promotes a strong safety and health culture.
  • Perform health, safety, and environmental (HSE) risk assessments and establish effective risk control initiatives.
  • Conduct or coordinate employee training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and the proper use of safety equipment.
  • Perform regular safety audits and inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss incidents, and occupational injuries to determine root causes, recommend preventive measures, and manage return-to-work programs.
  • Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and required improvements.
  • Coordinate employee safety programs and assess their adequacy, including short- and long-term strategic planning for safety development.
  • Manage and maintain safety inventory, including necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies as outlined in the Human Resources Policy Manual, Safety Manual, and related safety rules.
  • Promote and practice safe working techniques while reinforcing company safety policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Generate purchase requests and assist with the procurement of safety-related items.

Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Management or Engineering.
  • Experience: 7-10 years experience in similar field safety experience.

Job Specific Skills :

  • Sound understanding of risk assessment, occupational health, safety, and environment systems.
  • Proficiency in supervising health, safety and environment functions of an operational nature.
  • Experience in administering safety and health training programs.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental standards applicable to the industry.
  • English and Arabic language.
