Job summary

Novotel Makkah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a professional Receptionist/Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming, and professional experience throughout their stay.

You will greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, answer inquiries, provide information on facilities and local attractions, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations, all while maintaining accurate records and following hotel procedures.

Qualifications

• Saudi nationality is required for this position.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is preferred.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or front desk agent is preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or customer service industry is preferred; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a warm, professional welcome.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs promptly and efficiently.
• Answer calls, emails, and other guest inquiries.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel system.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Process payments and assist with cashiering per hotel policies.
• Keep the Front Desk area clean, organized, and professional.
• Follow security, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
• Support the Front Office team and perform other duties as assigned by management.
