Job Summary

The HAWK Depot Test Equipment (DTE) Technician plays a critical role within the Hawk Patriot Sustainment Contract (HPSC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This position involves operating and maintaining specialized test consoles used to diagnose and service electronic equipment essential to military and aerospace applications. The technician is responsible for tracking, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctions in radar cooling equipment and electronic components using these consoles. In addition to diagnostic and repair duties, the technician performs scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and operational readiness of test consoles. The role also includes preparing and submitting detailed maintenance and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs) to document issues and resolutions comprehensively. Beyond these core responsibilities, the technician may be required to perform other related tasks within the electronic maintenance and repair field. By supporting the maintenance and sustainment of equipment vital to the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems, this position significantly contributes to the defense posture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The technician will leverage technical expertise to participate in corrective and preventive maintenance measures and contribute to continuous process improvements as well as opening and closing of work orders and on-the-job training (OJT).

This position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

What You Will Do
  • Operate and maintain test consoles
  • Track and diagnose radar cooling equipment malfunctions using test consoles
  • Track, diagnose, and repair malformations of electronic parts
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance work for test consoles
  • Prepare and submit maintenance reports and Systems Problem Reports (SPRs)
  • Participate in On-the-Job Training (OJT) when needed
  • Perform other required work in the same field
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Associate degree in Electronics from an accredited foreign or local college or institute
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience in operating, maintaining, and repairing Depot Test Equipment (DTE).
  • Able to read technical references and engineering documents
  • Full knowledge of measuring devices and methods of using them to diagnose malfunctions
