Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic General Manager to lead all front-of-house operations of our upcoming 8,000 sqm flagship fine-dining destination in Riyadh, featuring five live-kitchen cuisines (Italian, Turkish, Indian, Lebanese, and Seafood) alongside a premium pastry bakery section. This leadership role drives pre‑opening readiness, operational excellence, and exceptional guest experience for a single, complex venue comprising 350 tables and 1,500 covers at peak.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all pre‑opening FOH activities: recruitment, training, SOPs, service‑flow and table‑management design
- Select and implement POS/FOH software and ensure integration with BOH systems
- Collaborate with Executive Chef on FOH service‑flow alignment across five kitchen sections
- Establish operational manuals, reservation standards, guest‑handling protocols, and service hierarchy
- Drive and monitor daily FOH operations across all service areas
- Lead guest experience program with VIP hosting and service recovery
- Maintain premium service culture and strict adherence to hygiene and safety compliance
- Oversee reservations, hosting, floor plans, and event coordination
- Prepare and monitor P&L, daily sales summaries, and operating budgets
- Build and motivate multicultural FOH team of 200+ staff
- Conduct structured training and performance reviews
- Work on marketing activations, seasonal promotions, and catering contracts
Qualifications Required
- 12 years of progressive hospitality experience with 5 years in GM or Senior Restaurant Manager capacity
- Proven experience in large‑scale operations (350 tables, 1,500 covers at peak)
- Strong pre‑opening background in staff recruitment, training, SOP development
- Demonstrated excellence in guest relations, VIP handling, and service recovery
- Commercial acumen with budgeting and cost control experience
- FOH technology proficiency (Foodics, Oracle MICROS, NCR Aloha, Lightspeed Restaurant)
- Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency an advantage)
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Previous GCC/Saudi Arabia experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
