The role combines floor supervision, opening and closing duties, team coaching, inventory support, cleanliness checks, guest service recovery, and operational follow-up. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise food and beverage associates during daily service to ensure smooth teamwork, guest satisfaction, and high service quality.
- Monitor dining areas for seating availability, service flow, cleanliness, safety, and guest comfort.
- Inspect staff grooming, uniforms, and professional appearance, correcting deficiencies when required.
- Complete opening and closing duties, including preparing supplies, setting up tools, checking equipment, cleaning areas, and securing doors.
- Inspect storage areas for cleanliness, organization, proper stock rotation, and FIFO compliance.
- Complete scheduled inventories and requisition food and beverage supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams by raising work orders for equipment, facility, or repair needs.
- Assist management with hiring support, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, coaching, and motivating employees.
- Serve as a role model and first point of contact for associate concerns under fair treatment and open-door practices.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to hotel standards, anticipate service needs, and respond with genuine care.
- Support guests with special requirements, including individuals with disabilities, while maintaining respectful and attentive service.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, associates, supervisors, and other departments.
- Build positive working relationships and support the team in achieving common service goals.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect hotel assets.
- Follow company safety, security, hygiene, and operational policies at all times.
- Report accidents, injuries, unsafe work conditions, service issues, or operational concerns to management.

Ideal Profile
- High school diploma, G.E.D. equivalent, or similar educational background.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in food and beverage service, restaurant operations, hotel dining, or hospitality service.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant, hotel, banquet, lounge, or food and beverage environment.
- Strong understanding of guest service standards, team coordination, grooming standards, service preparation, cleanliness, and operational discipline.
- Ability to supervise staff, assign tasks, support training, motivate associates, and maintain professional service behavior.
- Good communication skills with the ability to speak clearly, listen carefully, and respond professionally to guests and colleagues.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment with high expectations for service quality and presentation.
- Able to inspect storage areas, monitor inventory, support requisitions, and follow FIFO procedures.
- Physically able to stand, walk, lift items up to 50 pounds, use stairs or service ramps, and work through a full shift.
- Strong attention to detail when checking staff appearance, dining areas, equipment, supplies, and guest service standards.
- Responsible, discreet, and committed to protecting guest comfort, company property, and confidential information.
