A leading medical technology company is seeking a candidate to assist in robotic-assisted surgical procedures while completing necessary training and obtaining certifications. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field and fluent English skills. Responsibilities include supporting surgeons, engaging with hospital staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires collaboration with the internal sales team and has a travel requirement of 70%.
Work Flexibility: Hybrid
Complete Mako & JR 101 and 201 training for all robotic-assisted surgery applications and manual procedures. Obtain certification for each application needed to perform independent case coverage. Build knowledge of Stryker implants, instrumentation and applicable clinical benefits.
Complete Stryker Learning Management System (SLMS) assignments on an ongoing timely basis.
Observe and learn proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans and assist surgeons in pre-operative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning.
Shadow and assist in day-to-day coordination of accounts and necessary tasks to support scheduled robotic and manual procedures. Successfully complete supervised cases needed to obtain full certification for each application.
Develop knowledge of hospital and account preferences to meet or exceed customer expectations. Deliver excellent customer service and foster positive, trusting relationships with surgeons and hospital staff. Ensure all cases are planned and reviewed with associated surgeons prior to scheduled surgeries.
Learn and complete all necessary account administration duties (e.g. Case Tracker daily updates, PER process - Product Experience Report, RMA process - Return Material Authorization, case billing and closure). Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports per quality and compliance system requirements.
Build collaborative relationships with internal sales team members to achieve business objectives. Assist in product demonstrations and lab logistics to service sales, marketing and potential customers. Support the execution of the sales plan to grow product utilization and increase volume with current and potential surgeons.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical or clinical field of study preferably Biomedical Engineering or Medical Engineering
Fluent English language skills (Spoken & Written) is a must!
Use of computer and MS Office tools
Ability to work in a team oriented environment with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, detail oriented and a proven history of ability to make independent decisions
Comfortable in Operating Room environment
Familiar with Joint Replacement procedures (hip/knee)
Travel Percentage: 70%
