We are looking for a Chief Accountant to join our talented team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Oversee the work of accountants
- Review financial statements
- Prepare reports for chief executive officer
- Compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and implement internal accounting policies and procedures
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including: (month and end-year process - accounts payable/receivable - cash receipts - general ledger - payroll and utilities - treasury & budgeting - cash forecasting - revenue and expenditure variance analysis - capital assets reconciliations - fixed asset activity - debt activity - bank reconciliation)
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Provide recommendations
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Achieve Operational Objectives
- Supervising accounting staff
- Communicate with banks
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- GBA: Preferably not less than 3.5 5 or 2.5 4.
- +3 years of experience, Must have had a leadership role.
- Required certificate CPA or any related professional certification.
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, and Odoo.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in Arabic.
- Teamwork, Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, Capability to communicate and listen to needs from organizational stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and commitments concurrently.
- Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
