Overview

The Role We are seeking for a Facility Manager with electrical engineering background for one of our clients based in Riyadh, KSA. A Facilities Manager in the FM industry with an electrical engineering background is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of building systems, with a strong focus on electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of power distribution, lighting, UPS, and backup systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors.
  • Optimize energy efficiency of building systems.
  • Support budgeting, asset tracking, technical troubleshooting, and lead in-house maintenance teams.
  • Provide strong reporting, risk management, and emergency response capabilities to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and compliant facility operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
  • Additional certifications in Facility Management (e.g., IFMA, CFM, FMP) are highly preferred.
  • Certifications in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) and energy management (e.g., LEED, CEM) are an advantage.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles in facility operations and maintenance.
  • Proven experience managing electrical systems in large commercial, industrial, or institutional facilities.
  • Proficiency in CMMS, CAFM systems, MS Office, and energy monitoring software.
