JOB DESCRIPTION

As an Emergency Physician Consultant, you will work for a prestigious healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia.

Based in Riyadh, but at times traveling throughout Saudi Arabia while providing Emergency Concierge Medical Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides and maintains an efficient consultative, diagnostic and advisory service.
  2. Responsible for the highest standard of medical care for whom he / she will be responsible.
  3. Participates in the management of the physical and manpower resources of the assigned area to maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  4. Participates in actively promoting, and formulating teaching and training programs for Medical, Technical, Nursing and other Staff as applicable.
  5. Meets on a continuing basis all prerequisites for the team category.
  6. Regularly assumes the functions pertaining to his / her specialty, including emergency care, consultations, and committee assignments and on calls.
  7. Maintains responsibility for the management of patients under his / her care.
  8. Undertakes a comprehensive program of quality assurance which will ensure that standards are met and maintained as required.
  9. Promotes and maintains the high standards of the discipline by continuing medical education and the development of the specialty / subspecialty.
  10. Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his / her knowledge, skills and abilities.
  11. Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
  12. Performs any other clinical responsibilities related to the department or specialty, as assigned.
  13. Follows all approved policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Must have graduated from a recognized medical school.
  2. Doctor of Medicine.
  3. Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
  4. At least 3 years of experience post Board / Fellowship in Emergency Medicine.
