Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Communications Specialist. This position will be located in Saudi Arabiaand will be an onsiteposition.

Responsibilities

The Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI. This role requirs experience in military operations or related fields, with a strong focus on technical proficiency, analytical skills, and effective communication. The specialist will develop and implement emergency response plans, oversee surveillance systems, and provide expert guidance on operational readiness to support mission objectives.

  • Evaluate information from command centers and prepare high-level military and government reports as needed.
  • Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
  • Provide technical information and advice on capabilities, systems integration, and operational readiness.
  • Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure mission success.
  • Analyze and assess system performance to recommend enhancements and upgrades.
Qualifications

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience
  • Clearance Required : Secret
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ yrs of experience supporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS, HF, UHF, and VHF Radios and Antennas, Tactical Data Links (Link-11, 16, 22), CENTRIXS, Network Communications, SATCOM, or ADSI.
  • Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers (i.e., not for US military bases or USG facilities
  • PROPOSAL pending contract award
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Three+ (3) years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products.
  • Experience interacting with U S G a n d foreign senior military / government official.
  • Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCM-C.
  • DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above
